My Experience with Google Ads Account Suspension

Have you ever encountered a problem with your Google Ads account being suspended? If you have, then you know how frustrating it can be to deal with such an issue. Recently, a friend of mine encountered a similar problem with their Google Ads account being suspended due to Unacceptable Business Practices policy violation. In this post, I'm going to share my experience with this issue and how we resolved it.

First, my friend received a message saying that their account had been suspended due to violating the Unacceptable Business Practices policy. After discussing the issue and reviewing their account and website, I found that they had two websites and two ad accounts for different regions and currencies. The Singapore currency ad account was suspended, while the India currency ad account had its campaigns paused.

To find a solution, I turned to the Google Ads community forum for advice. Two members responded, with one suggesting to get verification and change the credit card, then submitting an appeal to Google to prove that they did not cheat or commit fraud. The other member stated that the violation was due to unacceptable business practices and that the account would not be reinstated.

I shared all the details with a Diamond product expert and asked about the refund of the balance amount uploaded to the suspended account. They confirmed that my friend would be refunded, excluding clicks accrued, and that it would take several weeks to process the refund.

My friend then decided to contact the Google Ads support team to resolve the issue. Initially, they received an email saying that their account had been reactivated, but later received another message saying that it was suspended again. They decided to request a refund of their account credit by canceling their Google Ads account. However, they only received an acknowledgement for S$250, even though they had a balance amount of S$350 (excluding clicks accrued).

Overall, it was a frustrating experience dealing with the Google Ads account suspension issue. However, by seeking advice from the community forum and reaching out to the support team, we were able to resolve the issue and receive a refund for the balance amount. If you ever encounter a similar problem, remember to stay calm and seek help from Google support channels to find a resolution.
