Crawled - Currently Not Indexed
What Google's official document says about "Crawled - currently not indexed":
"The page was crawled by Google but not indexed. It may or may not be indexed in the future; no need to resubmit this URL for crawling."

Case1:
I don't want to index these pages (Category, Tag, Dev & Feed): these pages are already marked as "no-index" in the Meta robots tag.

I don't also want to waste crawl budget on these pages. So, no need to worry about "Crawled - currently not indexed" issue in this case.
Case2:
These pages are distorting information architecture, and also these pages are low quality (duplicate, thin content), they should not be indexed.

These pages are not worth to update and improve the content. So, no need to index these pages in this case. It is also not a reflection of Google's assessment of quality of content.
