Recently noticed the “ Alternate Page with Proper Canonical Tag ” status message for our SCG page - https://scgroup.global/blog/security/ in Google Search Console. It means that there are two versions of a page on our website having the same canonical URL . Google will simply exclude the duplicate version and index the main version of the page. This page correctly points to the canonical page, so there is nothing for us to do.
