Google Search Console Crawl Stats Report Analysis

How to analysis the Google Crawl stats report, below are the steps.

Step1: You need to navigate to "Settings" > Crawl Stats


Step2: Here is a lot of information about how Google crawls your site
Helpful for SEO auditing—because, while not a replacement—many of us don't have access to crawl logs (Or else, we have to request with Web developer to get site log access).

Step3:
Example, here is the failed crawl request it is due to server connectivity. Server connectivity describes whether Google encountered connectivity issues when crawling your site. Connectivity error rates are considered a problem if they exceed a baseline value for that day.

Step4:
Example: See how often Googlebot encountered 301 redirects or 404 error pages on your site
Google will show you a list of most recent URLs along with timestamps.

This way, you can see the error pages Google keeps trying to crawl the most, to prioritize fixes

Also helpful, see what types of files Google spends energy crawling under the "File Type" report

If you see Google disproportionally crawling a large number of odd filetypes, it may be worth investigating

(in this case, signed exchange certifications).
